I celebrated my first karwachauth with my Grand Mother-in-Law.She Sung one of his own time Karwachauth song.Here I want to share with all of you in Hindi as well as english.

Hi Mrignayni,

This will be my third Karwachauth.I remember my first Karwachauth.

Five Things we need to do are-
1)Wear same lehanga what you wore at the time of phere.
2)Follow all the rules in life long whatever you are followint in first Karwachauth.Like if you are doing fast without water you have to observe all the Karwachauth life long in the same manner.
3)My parents sent me Karwa(of Chini) from my mayka(pear)
4)Always break your fast with the hand of your hubby by taking a sip of water and food.
5)Take aashirwad of your hubby and MIL and all elder ones present there.

hii alll for the coming Karwa Chauth..i dont think anyone is gonna stay w/o food and water till moon comes out right ehheheee :rotflsome people actually take sips of water and light capati ...so whats the actual way...can I drink some water here n there or eat light biscuits ???

Hi All,

I have got engaged and will be getting married in feb .....but my mother in law said that i can keep fast from next year phewwwww!!!! :thumbsup

This time i going to celebrate in quite a different way ...an outing with my fiancee, a nice dinner cooked by me only at home....isn't it good!!!

And yes in north india we are celebrating it on Oct 17th!!

Hi tr,
well if you want to keep this fast do is nicely.so u cant take food and drink water during the day.In the evening when you listen to the katha after that you can either have a glass of water or tea as advised by your mother in law as she gives the permission.after that you need to wait for the moon and then after seeing the moon you can have anything.

Well I am eagerly waitng for Karwachauth.
Last year I gave gift to my Husband.I gifted him one Gold Chain.
This year gold is very expensive.
I am not able to identify what type of gift I shoul give him?
