all Indians in Menlo Park, CA

Hi all! We moved to Menlo Park a year ago. Looking to connect with some Indian friends in Menlo Park. I wish there was some networking of Indians in this area. People from Iran have such a huge community and tightly knit too. Why Indians don't have that? Can we just start something like that if its not done before?

 

Are you not tired of living so disconnected and worried that your kids are not being exposed to the real Indian culture? Sometimes I worry that my kids will grow up thinking Indian as some alien race on Planet just like the ABCD generation thinks. I don't want that to happen. India is not a great country but it is my country and I want my kids to respect it.

 

Somehow the Indian people that come across are not interested in meeting other Indians. Don't know why? they need to understand that together we will be much stronger. If isolated just one by one we will be weak and loose on so many good things such as having our kids exposed to healthy environment.

 

I bet there are some good Indians out there and they will reach out.
