i liked singapore but since i got australian pr but when i made a trip and lived there for a short while, i really didnt like it. But we had spent a bomb for obtaining Aus PR. Invested our savings into that and finally got it too. But we somehow didnt like it. We have been living long in sg btw. Are there ppl in my situation? is it worth to give up Aus PR bcos it will expire in few years for living in sg? SG future for indians nobody knows. Am i taking the right decision?
my suggestion is u could apply and see for 1 to 2 yrs max. If still sg pr not working. go back to aussie. dont waste the aussie pr. u will slowly like aussie as well. education and work culture is better in aussie than sg.
hi Pooja, I guess it depends on individual. What is about SG that you like ? and why did you apply for PR in Aus? Mind sharing why you did not like AU? Some pros for AU would be holistic education, more space, relatively more relaxed environment, more independence For SG would be - more indians / indian culture here, good education though stressful, safely and efficiency. So what is it that matters more to you? Regarding future of Indians- well that is hard to predict, but with nations turning anti immigrant world over, it is hard to predict. Relatively Singapore is a young country with Indians as local minority population unlike Australia,
i agree but in what aspect you feel education is better in aus than sg, i agree with work culture for parents is 120 % fine in aus but education is less demanding for children compared to pressure cooker edu in sg..in my opinion both are wrong..both extremes but medium ground is hard to find..so i dont know what to do really..
