    Actual in lower classes there is no much diferentiation in Matriculation/CBSE, so there no problem in switching over.

    Actually these days in Tamilnadu all schools (matriculation) are following SAMACHEER KALVI pattern, just check out wherever you are taking admission,

    will my son get admission in cbse or icse ,or ib pattern schools after ukg for 1st std ,that's my doubt.

    Dear Sister,

    That is a different issue, his admission will have a problem not because of switching over, general trend in Chennai is that most admission happens in KG and Std I admission is very less, the next happens at Std VI, inbetween classes are difficult.

    Once a student gets an entry into lower classes Parents would like to continue till Std XII or atleast Std X other than some unavoidable circumstances.

    In that aspect you have think separtely, your issue was switching over for which I replied YES it is posiible.
