Hi, I would like to know the age requirement for LKG in chennai. Is it 3 or 4? Also when does the admission start ? Would appreciate any info. Thanks
Hi, The admission process for LKG is going on in most of the schools, some of them have completed the process already... Also the age criteria for LKG in some schools is 3 years completed on June 1st of year of admission and some others take children who are 3+ by Dec 1st of the previous year.. It varies from school to school...that's my personal experience.. I am trying to put my 4 year child to LKG this year..
I am trying to put my daughter next year only, but gathering information. So which school are you putting hime in?
Dear Manjula where r u going to settle in Chennai? First decide that. Try to find a school near the house preferable in walking distance. I'm in adyar and got admission in KRMM matriculation School (branch of Chettinad Vidyashram) which is very near to my house. or find out the van facilities offered by the school. regards uma
Dear Manjula Pon vidyashram and La Chatelein are the good schools around that area. Pon Vidyshram is affiliated to Padma Sehadri group of schools. Regards Uma
Hi Manjula, Schools near Valasaravakkam are Pon Vidyashram, Chinmaya, PSBB and La Chatelaine, Vani Vidyalaya, Devi Academy, Jawahar Vidyalaya, Amrita Vidyalaya as far as CBSE goes... There are some Matriculation schools also like AVM in Virugambakkam and Krishnaswamy in KK Nagar. In this I included areas nearby also. Admissions are over in some of these...anyway you are looking for next year only. Meantime if you need a playschool there's a very good one near La Chatelaine (turn right after La Chat) called Little Ones..my som studied there last year and enjoyed it and learnt a lot too! hope it helps.. Maya
Hi, I want to know what is the connection between Pon Vidyashram and PSBB. Especially the teaching methods; whats are the plus and minus points. Do they have exams every year? I heard that there are no exams in PSBB until the 9th Std. Are the same rules followed in both the schools.
