    Ansh,

A Wonderful story, told well.Yes there are some good samartians around. And i agree with u, that education does not necessarily make u compassinate or kind.

I was close to an elderly person, who i took as my Guru.He never charged any money, but listened to our problems and pratyed for us, and we got out of sticky problems. He was retired but well off.He could charge us the moon for what he did for us and many others, but never took a penny.

And there are so many incidences in my life.

Once i endtered a one way and a cop stopped me.He was about to fine me, but suddenly i bowed down and touched his feet, and told him im sorry, can u please leave me.

He took me in his arms, and said this is the first time somebody, a Seth has touched my feet,go, and dont do this again.

I was so touched by his gesture,i met a nice person that day.Regards.kamal

    Dear Ansh,

Looking forward to meet a lot of people like him...You were blessed the other day....

I have met some people like him...They reminded me there are miles to go in life....

I would imagine as if they are telling me, being poor if we do this you can do a lot more....Have to...

    Love,
    Oviya.

    Thnaks Kamalji for your FB.

You have given an exaple without mentioning that if kindness pays, being humble in accepting faults also pays. If you would have been rude, I don't think that police man would have been kind

    Thanks
    Ansh

    Very true Oviya

To be poor is not a crime but to be unkind surely is.

    Thanks for FB

I have lot of gratitude for that person, but at the same time a regret for not being able to do anything for him

I just pray for his well being

    Dear Ansh,

    What a wonderful soul !!!!!!!!!!

It is always said that Nature goes out of the way to help people in distress. "Deivam manushaya rupena" always holds good.

It was not long ago that my nephew (aged 8 yrs) was in our place for a non curable lung failure. He was on oxygen at home also and always needed doctor's attention. One evening he was semi consicous and his vital parameters were not good. When we contacted his Dr he told us to take a blood test immediately. This blood test requires the person to go to a hospital where the blood is drawn from the artery and immediately check for his oxygen level. As this required his transporting to the hospital and he was not in a state. Near to my house we have a hospital, me and my sil went there and requested them to come to the house and do the blood test. First they refused as this needed doctors to take out the artery blood. But after hearing our part the duty doctor called the icu nurse (ICU was also full at that time) and he himself accompanied to our house took the blood and arranged for the test to be done immediately. After this we had him checked by his consutant and he was admitted as he was in a very serious condition.

Though after 20 days my nephew passed away but the doctor at the hospital really changed our opinion regarding the medical profession.

    Hi Lalitha

very touching and very sorry to know about the sad demise of your nephew.

Very true, with commercialisation of health-care , one does not expect doctors to be very humane.

Such dutiful doctors are need of the hour.

    Thanks
    Best wishes

    Hi Ansh,

You have already rewarded his kindness, by acknowledging the fact here. Let me tell you that in today's selfish and 'mathlaby' world, not everyone remembers to thank others for their timely help nor do they think of it as a good deed, its just taken for granted and ignored at the best.

You've done a good job in thanking the driver from your heart, you need to take this forward and help someone in need and let the ball roll !

Pass it on is the name of the game....
