about polio dros for 6 months old born in US

hello
my LO is born in US in june '09 and whatever vaccinations were to be given, everything was taken till she was 4 months old. In october, we came to India on a vacation and due to some circumstances, had to stay a bit long, till feb. Now she is 6 and half months old..

Wondering, since we are in India nw, do i need to get polio drops for her??

Anyhow this feb we are travelling back to US (by that time she will be 7 months 10 days) and will have her next vaccination as her pediatrician said.

Can anyone pls throw some light on this and give suggestions??

Harini,

Did you miss the first dose of polio or all the doses of polio? I missed just one set of whole vaccinations since i visited india and i gave my DD later,the pediatrician said it is fine.I missed her 6 month vaccines but gave at 8th month.
