    Dear friends,

Did anyone use aashirvaad multigrain atta which says it contains an i ntegrated mix of six different grains – wheat, soya, channa, oat, maize & psyllium husk.

Please post your reviews on how good/how bad it is.

    Pman,

I grind my own multigrain atta here, sans the psyllum husk . the chakki person told me that i can add the maize, soya, oats and bring it. so it do that. but i mill small quanitities like 2/3kgs only, for the fear of the worms.

It tastes good.initially i camouflaged it in parathas later the kids also got used to the slight variation in the taste than the regular one.

    Shanvy,

Thx for the feedback. This atta contains chana flour which is besan and it is my concern whether it is good to have it on a regular basis. Also, soya flour will be heat to the body.

    pman,

down south oats, wheat, soya all are heat inducing products..:rotfl . so it is for us to balance. I don't add chana. but i feel the black kabuli chana is good protein for kids.

    Hi All,
I have used multigrain(dont remember aashirwad or another one). But i didnt find any difference in texture nor color.I expected atleast a bit different color since all these where included but it was the same, taste also.

Dear Shanthi, when you do it at home is the color same as that of the wheat atta?

I used it quite recently and found only a mild difference from the usual wheat flour.Taste is slightly vague.
