    Very nice poem Suni..
I couldn't control my tears reading this, sitting in office with my baby in a day care. But yes. I'm trying to give her a cozy nest. I console myself.

    tears roll out automatically...
This morning, my son woke up at 9 am and I was already rushing to work then, he and my daughter..yes I have a twins , both of them din't want to be fed by my maid...both were calling out for "amma please feed us our breakfast...I told them , I will feed you your dinner, I am already late, who asked you to sleep so long...???
Well I knew I am hurting my lil ones, but can't help it, I am sure I would have done it if they had woke up early...but have kids to sacrifies thier sleep for a working mom????
well ..don't know what to write...but I try my level best to give them my time...still I know had I been home , my kids would have been happier...

    Love,
    Kavitha.

A very emotional poem. A poem that speaks for every mother.
Some have work outside the house and some have work inside the house that includes family responsibilities.

I think that the time we spend with our kids helping with their homework as a part of our duty or something that is expected from a parent. But the time we spend listening to their stories, playing a game, taking a walk, watching a movie or even shopping for their needs with them etc is what I consider as bonding time and we should all try our best to adjust our schedules/routine to accommodate this "quality" time.

    Cheers !
    Radheshyam.

Such a heart-touching poem... I have read it before, but it still makes me cry every time I read it... Am going home with a resolution to be extra nice to my boys, spend lots of time with them (a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old), and, toughest of all, not to lose my temper with them :).
Thanks, Sunitha, for sharing the poem and the thought...
