A Woman's Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks that was a wonderful addition. You are right we go through all that and still find time and energy at the end of the day. Now itself there are so many managers and leaders but yes by 2015 we might be more in majority. Woman is a symbol of everything, careing, loving,fighting, argueing, fight for her rights and in the end she is the one who is blamed, she is like this and like that. I feel women has more knowledge, but still she is kept behind. But time is changing, woam will not sit quite for the stupidity that happens to her dear. She is making her position much stronger.

Well written and brings out most off the work done by a woman the whole day.

Imagine Indian working women handle few more tasks like

1- answering credit card/bank loan calls.
2. Entertaining guests through phone/personal visits
3. buying giffs for near and dear ones in Pothys/RMKVs for hours and finally listening to the comments on selection is not good/bad, better.
4. fighting with autowalas on rates (Indians learn very good negotiation skills), listening to the bus conductors abuse on not having change, getting a place t stand through peak hour trains.
5. Preparing sweets and snacks for very frequent festive days
6. Checking out disparities in EB/Phone bills
7. watching and gossipping on evening serials

After all these, still having Energy to have a difference of opinion with MIL/SIL etc.

At the end of the day,, these women face questions like
"What do women have to do?"
"What do you know abt? Unkku onnum theriyathu... po"

I bet by 2015, there will be more women managers and leaders on top compared to MEN.

You are right. The list for a woman is endless. That was just a beginning and later some of our friends have added some. Our work doesn't just end with the daily chores but also the resposiblities of just not kids and hubby but all the hubby's family and all especially if you are eldest in the family. seeing to it all are doing fine, etc,etc..............

Aruna,
That was a beautiful poem! It brought back memories about a poem I had written a long time back, when my kids were small. It ran something in the same lines as yours! But when I think of it now, I feel that it was a passing phase. Sure, we will get a chance to live for our own sweet self. But be assured, there will be thorns and hurdles all the way till we finally rest!Those little moments that we get for our sole selves are the most beautiful moments! I shall post my poem regarding this subject. Please review.
