    Dear Sriniketan,
It is nice to know that you have saved the pictures. Next time you are in India, please take time off to visit this temple. From Nanganallur, it is quite close by.
    Regards,
    Malathi

    Dear Malathi,
Reading your narrative was a beautiful spiritual experience.
Shall definitely visit the temple as soon as I get the opportunity.
I re -read all your posts on this subject again so as to get the continuity....it was really wonderful. As all our other friends said,I repeat "your family is truly blessed".Bow
Yes,I agree ,we can be at peace by surrendering to God,s will and let destiny run its course while we pray devoutly for the Almighty's blessings.
I came across these few lines which I thought of sharing:

    God's Sunshine
Never once since the world began
Has the sun ever stopped shining.
His face, very often we could not see,
    And we grumbled at his inconstancy;
But the clouds were really to blame,
    Not HE !
    For behind them,he was shining.
And so behind life's darkest clouds,
    God's love is always shining.
We viel it at times with our faithless fears,
And darken our sight with our foolish tears.
But in time the sky always clears
To show God's love is always shining.

    -------- John Oxenham

Thanks again ,Malathy...May we always receive the blessings of the benevolent
    Anjaneya..."Mangal murthi,maruti nandan
    Sakal amangal mool nikandan"

    Warm regards,

    Dear Paulina,
That poem was really beautiful. The mind's preoccupation with worldly things clouds God's presence amidst us. The moment we travel inwards, there, in the heart of our hearts, He is seated on a Golden Lotus! That is what the Upanishads say!
Thanks for having taken time to read the 3 episodes. And May Lord Maruthi bless us all with happiness and good health!
    Regards,
    Malathi

    Dear Shanthi,
I went through this link. One of our village acquaintance had visited Thiuvannamalai and its surrounding hills in search of a siddhar about whom he had heard. He was guided by some vendors in the main hill to take a roadless path which led to an isolated hillock. There were quite a few foriegners too who were seeking this siddhar for their research work.
There on top of this hill. under a tree, alone sat a mendicant who survived on tea brought by the seekers. He would ask them to pour the tea in a mud vessel. He would take a sip and then hand it over to them as prasad. He would not talk to anybody and would be off and on into meditation. This acquaintance of mine showed me a photograph of this mendicant. He was very bony because he did not eat any thing. I wonder if he is still there. But, the path that leads to that particular hillock is very difficult to tread. In fact, as I said there is no path as such. If I come to know more about this sadhu, I will post it in a new thread.
    Regards,
    Malathi
