Guys, check it out.I found it quite hilarious! A Mail from a frustrated victim of chain mails I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain letters to me in 2003 & 2004 and are still doing in 2005. Because of your kindness: * I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for removing toilet stains. * I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected with AIDS. * I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they cause cancer. * I don't leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me. * I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill from hell with calls to Uganda, Singapore and Tokyo. * I also stopped drinking anything out of a can for fear that I will get sick from the rat feces and urine. * When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot she is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me then take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice. * I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times. (Poor girl! she's been 7 since 1993...) * I went bankrupt from bounced checks that I made expecting the $15,000 that Microsoft and AOL were supposed to send me when I participated in their special e-mail program would arrive soon. * My free Nokia phone never arrived and neither did the free passes for a paid vacation to Disneyland. * Still open to help some from Bulgaria who wants to use my account to transfer his uncle property of some hundred millions $. * Made some Hundred wishes before forwarding those Ganesh Vandana ,Tirupathi Balaji pics etc.. now most of those 'Wishes' are already married(to someone else) IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not send this e-mail to at least 1246 people in the next 10 seconds, a bird will SH** on your head today at 6:30pm. AAAH I feel the same way too!!! Dear purnima, Most of them were so true. At least i feel that about those mails that sit in my spam folder everyday without any invitation or encouragement on my part, wherein people are waiting to transfer their uncle's property to my account. LOL!!! It is also true about those so-called "lucky" mails which bring luck to me only if i send them to "n" number of recipients. Lo! There is also a threat attached that if i don't, i will be n a soup(or like ur mail said a bird will S*** :tongue )!!! Sai baba, tirupathi srinivasa and the likes are sitting calmly not knowing their pictures are making rounds around the world on WWW carrying menaces of bad luck to poor chaps who don't forward the email to minimum 20 friends!!!:? But i really dont mind the humorous forwards i get from my friends which sure cheer me up and tickle my funny bones! This is one such!!
hey purnima..it was a really nice post..i too an frustrated by all these forwarded mails especially when they want me forward it to 10-15 people or threaten that Ill be cursed..Initially i used to forward them religiously to all i knew to save my self from the curse and hence pass the parcel to others..but now i just dont...cos in sicj and tired of these mails..its like im realized that im falling prey to all those superstitions which i hate my self..now i dont forward any such emails to my friends...being a good friend.. regards Ridhima

Even i used to get umpteen number of forwards.. and like ridhi said earlier i religiously used to follow them, these days when i get such mails, i get irritaed not with the mail but with the sender who has sent me such a mail!!!! hahahah... The frustrated victim's letter was hilarious! Earlier,I would delete such chain mails.Now,(when I have the time)I fwd it only to the person that sent it to me.And if poss(if my inbox is not flooded) i let it remain for a couple days and re-send it
