    That's a good expression, Mals. There could not be a more cryptic summation of this character.

    He is perfectly justified in that assumption.

    Marimuthu is not just a proof-reader. Remember he prevented two of Arun Kumars book from going to print. For hiim Marimuthu is a friend, philosopher and guide. And so is Kamla. To use his own words his book-release function is attended by all those who love him - that is these two. (Of course at this time he is not aware of his father's love)
