Here is my old thread for some street snacks
Street foods of India (from street vendors)

I have also tried the baked version of the mirchi bajji posted in the above thread and it tastes the same.

I find ‘mommy’s kitchen’ cookery show telecasted on Etv abhiruchi ideal for kids lunch box and snacks.I have tried some of her recipes and my kids loved them.
You can check them out here

    Vegetable soft noodles
Drop 1.5 cakes of Ching’s secret noodles in hot boiling water and cook for 3 mins, remove, strain and rinse in cold water immediately. Heat oil in a pan add chopped - garlic, ginger, green chillies and sauté. Add lots of veggies (bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, beans) and stir well on a high flame. Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, vinegar and toss. Add noodles, salt, pepper and toss well, remove, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot. This is great for lunch box too.

Variation - Add scrambled eggs for egg soft noodles or grilled chicken pieces for chicken soft noodles to the above recipe.
