In arranged marriages, particularly for girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, choice is often limited. This is even more true for the eldest daughters, as younger siblings' futures often rest on the first daughter's marriage.

These girls are typically brought up to trust their parents completely and accept whatever their elders say without question.

They take pride in their obedience, as it’s valued in the marriage market, seen almost as a prized trait. In their new homes, many continue this pattern, showing obedience to their husbands and in-laws to earn favor and recognition as an ideal wife or daughter-in-law.
For most, this pattern continues unless something drastic occurs. Over time, some adapt to these challenging circumstances, either learning to navigate the situation or benefiting as things gradually improve.

While there are exceptions, this is the norm. Napoleon's daughter-in-law seems to be an example of such a woman, as I saw in a video that she came from a very impoverished background.

The internet says, the life span of this groom is not very long as the illness can take his life soon. While our lives are unpredictable, I don't think the bride's happiness and tears shown in the videos after the marriage is genuine, unless she is extremely naive.
Because I don't see any love affair or infatuation or age related affection here.

Behind woods has been given the contract to display the wedding. So they are taking lots of interviews to make money.
Kala master is a financial person who has received money from both Napoleon and behind Woods. So she is going overboard with her interviews and acting

Let us not glorify these individuals or these transactions.
This is pure exploitation and setting up wrong example where there is possibility of women being pushed into this setup using this as an example.
Doesn’t matter what the intentions are the way in which whole thing is conducted and presented is sending wrong message to the society.
Let us not try to make women give up sex and become social worker in the name of marriage . When the girl comes to senses things are going to turn ugly . Living in USA with not much social interaction and being a care taker for life long will take a toll on her mental health . She seems to be not in right mindset to understand these difficulties since she is attracted by all the money and media light showered on her . Will they be willing to do the same for second kid to find someone with medical concerns ?

I completely agree. Unfortunately, this situation is not unique—many young women face exploitation in the marriage market. In some cases, women from poor backgrounds end up in even harsher conditions. Many are pressured to marry significantly older or already married men as second wives, like in the case of actor Saravanan’s wife. Others may be matched with elderly or unknown men from regions like the Gulf, or with abusive husbands and in-laws, often with tragic outcomes.

This pressure crosses poor social backgrounds, affecting not only uneducated villagers but also doctors and IT professionals. When families face poverty or social pressure to marry off their daughters—often the eldest—by a certain age (max by 30), these young women sometimes become the scape goats for the family’s future.

Napoleon’s son’s marriage gained attention due to his public profile, sparking debate. But similar stories happen without the spotlight. For example, a neighbor of mine married a man paralyzed since childhood. His family, wanting to ensure care for him, sought a bride from an extremely poor family who struggled to find marriage prospects for their daughters due to lack of dowry or social status. They eventually found an innocent young woman willing to take on the role, and she now cares for him and thankfully, she has a son, who is a healthy and happy child.

This lady often says, she is happy despite the circumstances because she has a home, and a family (and kid) to live for. If not for this marriage, she would have been end up living alone after her parents' times ( most likely unmarried and depending on some extended relatives for safety often sacrificing her self respect).

So while this may be newsworthy in one case, these realities are far from
    rare.

A man with MD can have sex. It may be little difficult.
There are lots of comments by people in you tube scolding Napoleon for spoiling a Girl's life.
How many of them have worried about all Girl's life in India. There are so many Girl's struggling.
How many of the same men are eveteasing and molesting A girl. What gives you the right to worry about this particular girl.
It's just jealousy and vakra buddhi.
Let all the complaining men first treat an Indian girl with respect and then talk about Napoleon and his son.

Jackie Kennedy made a pragmatic marriage to Aristotle Onassis. She got money for herself and security for her children, he got a glamorous and well-connected wife on his arm. The marriage soured very quickly and would have ended acrimoniously had Onassis not passed away first.

When a family like Napoleon’s chooses to share their personal life publicly on platforms like YouTube, they naturally invite opinions. The more public you make your life, the more people will talk about it—for better or worse. If they had opted for a private ceremony without publicizing it through videos, the level of discussion and judgment would have been significantly lower. Sharing your life online is a personal choice, but it inevitably comes with scrutiny.

Regarding caregiving for disabled individuals, while many states offer caregiver services for adults with disabilities, it’s not as straightforward as relying solely on them. These caregivers often approach their duties as a job—they come, they do what’s required, and they leave. The emotional and physical toll of caregiving, such as preventing bedsores or addressing emotional needs, often falls on family members.

If their financial status is being used to influence the other party into agreeing, it can be seen as pure exploitation.
