    hi friends,

my lil angel is completing 6 month by 30th...

I was exclusively feeding BM till 5 month.. and from 5th month i started giving her home made rice kanji and other home made food. not giving her cerelac and all. BM is not sufficient for her now.. also she is getting satisfied with bm only after feeding any other food.. she doesn't look fat.. she is thin only.. her paed says she is healthy and weight gain is normal and no need to worry... also he says only night feeding is enough for baby which is not possible with my baby as she wants bm after every semi solid or solid food..

Everyone in our home pressurizing me to feed her bottle milk but she even doesn't know how to suck from bottle. she is playing with bottle which is very very cute..

am very confused.. pls help me what should i do ???

Am not working and staying in home only.. for me feeding her is very very important and happy.. but its not enough for her..

    waiting for ur replies moms..

At six months ,their nutrition Will come from solids and they will feel full only with some solids. So feeding BM after she eats something is good. No problem at all and no need for bottle feeding too.

No need stress, you are at home and you can BF her , so no need of bottle.

In fact you can start to feed water using spoon at this age. If she is comfortable and if you still want to give her formula , you can feed from spoon .

Another idea is try sippers after few weeks with milk or water .she might like it.

Bottle is not needed and you can save yourself from the task of weaning from bottle later , ask any moms who try hard to wean from from bottle it is a big headache.

yes am feeding her water with spoon only... she always wants to hold her spoon in her hands.

when can i start sippers for her ?... now she is showing interest to drink from steel tumbler.. so we are just giving for her sake.. she is drinking some qty and spitting..

If your baby is willing to drink from tumbler that is great! Feed her with spoon . Give
her BF often. Milk is necessary at this age.
