5 lb New Year Eve Weight Loss Challenge - 6th Dec to 31st Dec

    Hi Pman,

    This is a wonderful initiative by you to inspire all the ladies of this forum to have a killer look for the new year.:thumbsup

    Please count me in. I am 163 cms tall and currently weigh 61 kgs. My problem area is lower part of the body( lower abs, hips and thighs) . I really want to lose weight in that region. It would be great if I lose 2.2 kgs in next 3 weeks.

    Also can we do this during periods time? I mean this walking.?

    Great challenge. I too want to be part of it. Actually, I too had a goal in mind before I came across your challenge. That was to reduce 3.5 kgs from 6th Dec to 31st Dec. Your challenge talks about a loss of 2.2 kgs, which is definietly more achievable and a healthier target.

    I am definitely going to participate in this challenge. I just had one concern in mind. Is it possible that simultaneously I work for the goal that I had set earlier. i.e. a loss of 3.5 kgs. Or I should completely forget about it? Is it achievable? I want this weight by 31st Dec as after that I am going for a yoga course. And I want to reach 60 figure by that time?

    Walking during periods is very safe but still depends on how comfortable you are to do it. You can take it easy if it is difficult and resume once the periods are over.

    Hi atomar,

    Your concern made me smile. Ofcourse, you can lose more weight but not drastically. Losing 2 lbs per week is realistic and healthy. So I meant that way.

    Yes, im in the maintenance phase now and able to maintain my lost weight for about 6 months now. Im trying to tone myself more now and exercise every day.

    My current weight is 63 kgs.

    I completely forgot about this challenge today. So, I am starting from 7th Dec.
