    Hi

My famous Tomato & Kothimeera Chutney

    2. Green Chillies 6 (or more for more spicy)
    3. Coriander 3/4 cup (chopped)
    4. tamarind

    6. turmeric powder
    7. Mustard seeds, red dry chilli, curry leaves and Oil for Seasoning
    Salt to taste

    Preperation:
Cut Totmatoes and put them in a bowl and put it on stove.
Add little oil, and Turmeric powder.
Then cover and let it cook for about 15 mins or untill water comes out and evaporates.
Then add coriander and cook for another 5 to 10 mins
After that remove and let it cool.
Mean while in a blender, add tamarind, jeera and salt and blend untill smooth.
Now add the cooled mixture, make sure the water from the mixture is not added while blending.
Now blend untill smooth. And add the remaining water also if u dont want ur chutney to be thick.
Now remove to a sreving bowl and add the seasoning.

    Hi annnaya

The recipe sound interesting, but since we are using raw soaked chana dal do we not get the raw taste. Anyway I'll know when I try it. Can you name the breakfast items with which chana dal chutney go well.
