    Hi I have a doubt.Once my friend bought a jewel and only after coming home saw that it didnt had that 916 and went back and asked.All they did was take a small gold bit that had 916 already written on it and just soldered(if this word is correct?) on that necklace.

    If that is so easy, why do they say look for 916 standard?
