Hi All, My email management sucks. I procrastinate on responding to emails that require thought and time (the important ones). I wanted to change that habit. I then came across this concept of inbox zero - Inbox Zero. Getting to a clean inbox periodically. I started doing it, but then I am not consistent. What I would like to do is to take it as a challenge to get to a zero inbox everyday, for the next 30-days. I will update here daily. If I get to a streak of 30/30, I am going to treat myself big-time. Please join me in this challenge. Ravikant
justanothergirl, Awesome to have a buddy. Do this. Move your entire 2882 unread emails into a "To be processed" folder and start your inbox zero challenge from there. As a separate track, you can process unread emails from the new folder. Don't do the mistake of thinking that you can work this 2882 from your inbox. More will pour in before you clear some and you will get the leaky bucket effect and you will give up. R
I have more than ten folders in my email. 'Mails from Mahesh' , 'Mails from Jasmine" and 'Mails to and from Dell " etc, To that folders, I move the mails, which I want to save for future reference. Those which do not need any future reference in my judgement, I delete then and then after replying. So, my folders will be having lots of mails, but my inbox has always been empty.
