Re: Any Soccer fans? hi in the first math S.Africa and mexico. i really appreciate the performance of S.Africa.
Hi to all Soccer fans, Atlast got the connection yesterday In yesterday match between Italy and Paraguay. I couldnt stop watching paraguay's game then the defending champions. Actually they were defending and struggling alot to secure a goal. Waiting for Brazil's match....:bowdown
After a spell of illness, I am back! And while I was home with my parents, they dint let me watch the matches in the evenings!! Ok, but I still watched them on, the next days (unfortunately ) but atleast something is better than nothing. I managed to see UK vs US match! Man! UK scored in the 4th miniute and was merry until US scored one too! I have to say that UK's game was a bit disappointing, Rooney just kep hitting above the goal instead of inside! Well, ok its tough when one plays on the ground, but I had expected better out of them - esp. when playing against a younger team! But, definitely I liked watching it when both teams attached and defended - with a lot of yellow cards flashing! :crazy Another one than I manager to Catch was the first match S.A vs Mexico. Was a nice one to start with. I bet it would have been memorable for S.A to have got the first goal of the world-cup. Ha ha, me too felt surprised to see Maradona all jumping around and shouting during the match!! A good match. The match between S.Korea and Greece was really tiring to watch! Man! Greece really have to buck up and gather their confidence for attaching. The match saw only the ball being passed around all the players in one side of the wing! :bonkKorea knew only to attach and Greece had 5 players just defending! How can one expect only the remaining players to have the confidence of going ahead and try taking a goal! Phew! Anyways, I love watchng the matches! I hope I get to see today's matches!
Hi Gaya, How are you? Hope you are well after illness? Yesterday was the mostly expected match between Brazil and North korea. The match started with a tough, as brazil could put a goal only after half time. Brazil atlast got its first goal from MAICON in the 55' min and second one by Elano in 72'. Goal by Maicon was superb and North korean Ji scored his first goal in 89' Kudus to North Korea for their brilliant effort against Brazil:cheers Waiting for today's matches :thumbsup
I am fine thank you Jaya! A lot happened in the last week! MAn, what poor performance did England put in - they keep dissapointing me!:bonk And Serbia beat Germany! God - I know have seroius thoughts of what will happen!:crazy I think Argentina is coming out strong now!
Hello everyone: Great to see the many football enthusiasts here! So far, all I can say is that the teams seem to be warming up yet. Teams i thought would do great have barely managed to draw their matches - England vs US, Italy vs NZ, some have lost - France vs Mexico, Germany vs Serbia, Spain vs Switzerland. Topsy turvy some of them. South american countries Brazil and Argentina seem to be getting better by every match. It will be really nice to see some high score matches like those of Argentina and Germany. Cameroon seem to be on their way out of the World cup. let's see what the coming week has in store... Today's matches : Portugal vs N. Korea Chile vs Switzerland Spain vs Honduras Oh the team I would love to cheer - Brazil. But then, I did want England, France and Ivory Coast to do good also. Fingers crossed..... Sindhu
