my daughter turned 15 months yesterday and till now she babbles all the time like tiki Tata daga papa ba and all other types of funny words. But she doesn’t say amma pappa but rest she is developing properly. She doesn’t say words as such but just babbles though I keep talking to her the whole day. Is it normal and when do they start talking

    Please advise

It is normal. Some kids take longer to say proper words.
Talk with her a lot and concentrate on teaching the words.
Staying around a little older kids who have started talking will help .

If you are still worried....talk to the doctor on her next check up. Most likely the doctor will say she is fine.

Yes it's normal. Kids start talking words by 1.6years and pick more vocabulary everyday.. By 3years they can form sentences..

You can try this.. keep talking to kid like. You can talk about whatever you are doing...

Mommy is cooking now. Mommy will feed you and eat. Mommy is changing your diaper now. Daddy will come in sometime.

It it too early to worry about talking. Some kids talk late. However, if you are worried about other developmental milestones, then you should go for an evaluation just to be sure. My DS started babbling as a 8 month old and continued to babble till 2. It was only a few months after he turned 2 years, he started speaking. But it was too quick after that. He went on to talk in 2-3 sentences within a span of a few months after he started talking.
