    Early morning was annoying.. with a half page humiliating mail. +ve.. Instead of reacting.. acted.. and it worked in my favour. The person who wanted to provoke me was left fuming that I was not broken.. .. DEVILISH SMILE...

    I talked to my computer. :icon_pc:

    LinkedIn keeps sending messages: "Do you know X Y, A B, or C D?"
    This morning I issued a rejoinder: Never mind that. Point is do they know me? Do they want to acknowledge knowing me?

    I felt mighty pleased with my reply to an inanimate computer. :cool:

    Cloudy weekend, hot chocolate, home-made Diwali snacks (not my home : ) ), and the discovery that there are some works of Wodehouse on gutenberg.org. Was something to read his online. Jeeves appeared at ease in the new diggings, while his master needed some gentle easing in. :)

    at work one of my colleague came upto me and showed her new shirt and said I was reminded of you when I saw this one at the store and bought this and have named this shirt after u. I was surprised as I am not one of those trendsetters but today learnt that Im known for my patterned shirts ....

    Feeling great after substantial cost and time overrun to finish the master bathroom project. I formally occupied the master bath today with a nice built-in-closet. Shower is a dream shower with a lot of space. But enviable shower at the other end is my wife's with a mood light that changes color based on instructions given via mobile app.

    Now, wish me good luck on my kitchen remodeling.

    Somebody kept borrowing my clothes without asking. Most annoying. So, I returned the favor. Borrowed hers. Oh what a feeling!

    Saw a Bernie Sanders sticker on a car in the parking lot. I looked at it wistfully, wondering how different it might have been. The car owner came by, and we kind of shrugged and smiled and with a 'it is what it is' palms upward gesture, moved on. Planning to go to a polling station or two and just be part of the moment and the day.

    What's the positivity.. i don't know : ) taking a minute to think about the country and such sentimental blah, I guess.
