    Dear Cheeniya Sir,

Oh, i loved your rambling, Cheeniya Sir!

Oh, oh! and I forgot Kirk Douglas and Yul Brynner...

In those days, we never missed the Hollywood Mythologicals though I did not swoon over the muscled torsos and well-maintained bodies then (dare I say I was too young???) because I was too busy staring with rounded eyes and mouth agape at the screen, thinking more about how Cecil B DeMille conceived the story and repeated the heroes and villains...

Hilarious description of 'round' :biglaughI am literally :rotfl! How come I did not think of this, such an apt description...round all over...

"NTRas Krishna used to have a nice paunch, heavily made up with false eyelashes, crude lipstick and jewels! They all had jaws which were more round than square!"

Thank you so much for such a rib-ticlking fb, dear Cheeniya Sir,

    Best regards,
    Padma

    Dear KMji,

Superb pun on the 'squares' and 'rounds' of life, :hatsoff to you!

BTW, I did not know that you had a round head, ha ha!

Salma Hayek, eh? and what does your DW say to that?

I really loved your fb, KMji...

    Regards,
    Padma

    Hi Shree,

Perhaps Square is more practical, I'd say it is easier to build a square (or rectangular) room or window than a rounded wall or alcove...

Square rotis are interesting too! Easy to stack square containers and boxes, they take up less room and look neat...

Enjoyed your peep in here and the sweet fb too, Shree

    Love,
    Padma

    Dear dear Sabi,

Such accolades from one of the most accomplished and acclaimed writers in IL... I am honoured!

Square or Round containers? Take a guess

Square is practical says the mind, Round says the heart, pleasing to the eye and more romantic!?!

Finally, a bit of both... settled for Round ones for the glass cupboard and Square ones inside the larder unit!

Thank you for a lovely fb, Sabi dear

    Love,
    Padma

    Natpudan,

I suppose you have a point there... decisive or straight-forward versus irresolute or vascillating ...

Thanks for an unusually refreshing point of view,

    Regards,
    Padma

    Dear dear Padma,

Let me tell you on the outset, I am a bit square and could not guess where all these squares and rounds were leading me to...It cannot be the storage containers, surely! Jaya rounded it off by adding some triangles that resulted in yantras ! Intellects like Sabitha found the mantra in this yantra and promptly nominated it for FP of the month. I shall go eat a round of sandwiches and hope my square self can catch up with the eloquence of my friend here some day?:)

    Dear Kamla,

Some simple innocuous squares and rounds/circles have been transformed to yantras by adding triangles, in turn leading to mantras and ... ???

How can someone who writes such interesting fbs be labelled a 'square', I wonder?

Kamla, your inputs have added another perspective here,

Thanks for the lovely words, my dear friend

    Love,

    Padma
