For hummus..should I marinate the chickpea overnight and then steam it and grind or directly grind the chickpea after draining water?
You should cook the chickpeas if you're starting from scratch. Canned chickpeas can be used directly after rinsing.
You need to first boil the soaked ones and only then grind it. Once my DH made hummus without boiling it (I was not aware that it was uncooked )and it was a disaster.
