There is an easy way to multiply a 2 digit number by 11 :

    For eg its 85*11

    Step 1 - Write 85 as 8_ _ 5

    Step 2 - Add 8 and 5 ie 8+5=13

Step 3 - Fill in the blank in step 1 with 13 so the number is 8 1 3 5

Step 4 - Carry 1 and then add it to the first digit
    ie 8+1 = 9

    So the answer is 935
