Hey! Dears, this is a dedication to Varalotti Sir’s father, who had breathed his last, yesterday:-

The sudden ruffles heard near the serene waters…

‘Twas time for a ripe yellow leaf to merge with its ‘Roots’…

The bird has gone in search of the expanse-now ‘liberated’!!

    The sea’s bubbles put to rest- the tides all ebbed;

A new ‘Tranquil’ of a different kind has set over.

No need for cries and wails..hasn’t ‘He’ now become one with God?!?!

The soul has finally found its ‘Home’ with the ‘Master’ above…

The ‘Messiah’ is waiting to receive him, at the door-steps of Heaven!

There’d be no more of the Earthly Bondages,to tie him down,-

There’d be only love, love and more of love surrounding...

A whole new Haven,a whole new set of ‘Kith & Kin’…

    Still,

No need to cry and mourn, for, hasn’t ‘He’ now become one with God?!?!

    -Saras..

    Hai Sarasma,

My heartfelt condolences to Mr.Sridhar sir and to his family.

Your condolence message really vanish the sorrow dear. When the soul is merged with the SUPREME the caretaker of the soul should need shoulder to share his/her sorrow. You made this really dear. As you havementioned we should not CRY because
the soul is in the safe hands of GOD.

    Dear Saras,

That was a beautiful one dear.

I just want to tell you here that you should read Varalotti's Wedding Night if you have not read that before. Rumi tells that it is the soul's wedding night with the Lord. The words of Rumi intermingled with our Sridhar's mind boggling words turned the blog into a masterpiece. Honestly it was an eyeopener of sorts for me. I just could not imagine Death could mean this way too. Death is always associated with dark, pathos and all negative traits but here Rumi talks about love, the joy of being together... which is also echoed by you in this beautiful verses.

Hats off dear... great job. looking forward for more....

    Dear Shanti,

Yes! it is a very poignant moment for Sir & his family- I have not even contemplated on the theme of death or life-after death!!
But, these lines just propped up...
In fact, Sir's 'The Wedding Night'-as Lalitha too has mentioned here-is laden with more soul-stirring thoughts on the same.
Thanks for joining shoulders with me to pray for Sir & his family.

    Dear Lalitha,
Yes! I did read the chapter in it's Tamil version from Sir's legendary book, "Vallamai Tharayo"!
Me too..someone who always had associated 'Death' with negative aspects..was for the first time exposed to a lovely philosophy of 'Being One With The Beloved'..from Sir's chapter..with poignant and subtle thoughts were spread through out!!!

Well! but I hadn't ever written anything on 'Death' or 'The Life after'...this is the very first time that I tried my hand at such one..hope Sir would get to read it sometime later.
    Thanks for joining me here...
    Saras
