பாரதி பாடல்களில் ஆன்மீகம் ! (spirituality In Bharathiyar Songs)

I listened to your video with rapt attention. Bharathi got inspired from inner illumination about truth. ( at the back of the mind நிற்பதுவே நடப்பதுவே plays )
Every sentence of yours is softly kindling and reminding of happenings in the Mundasu kavinjan bharathis life. Your averment that Bharathi's songs are only an exposition of his inner illumination of the only truth aaham brahman. Indeed he is Spiritually an elevated soul.
You had quoted brilliant words of thirumular and Valluvar. Chpter ten of Gita viswaroopam and Krïsna's words that He lives as vasantham in season and he lives in kadal as water et al and how beautifully Bharathi translated those into Tamil!
You mention of aftermath of storm and His tying those dead-birds from the beach shore in his head-gear and did their burial in sand became the cause for his writing a toast song for birds . I never knew this.thanks. Keeping in view time constraints and excellent research you produced a speech that must have got you rapt attention, standing ovation & applause. I wish I was there among the audience applauding you on that occasion.

During my school days too I was rapacious reader of all of Bharathiyar's creations. I drew inspiration from my late bro Dr Bharathi Adipodi was then engaged in propagation and dissemination of Bharathi's works . He founded bharathi ilanzhyar sangam got sponsors for Tamil debates and organised tamil lit seminars around Bharathi's birth anniversaries. He arranged for "VEETUKU ORU BHARATHI" In which members visit homes around Triplicane and Mylapore gifting the framed pic of the poet and a book containing collection of his anthology. His confederation organisations used debates among school students and gifted the participants with awards.
He expired on a day when it was birth anniversary of the poet and TN Govt on that day honoured Tamil Savants. To disseminate bharathi's fervour for the freedom of India, he toured entire TN and other parts of India where tamil population was substantial. I remember his team visited Matunga in 1975-76 and win the debates and participated in seminars on various themes including spirituality, gita upadesam, panchali sabhadahm etc conducted at Nappu Hall organised by Bombay Tamil Sangam.
So now you know how I am drawn to Tamil & Bharathi.
