கொல்லாமல் கொல்லும் மருத்துவ உலகம்!

எத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் உலகில் வாழ்வது? - என
சித்தனைக் கேட்டாலும் இயம்ப இயலாது!

சுகமாக உடல் நலம் காத்து வரும் ஒருவரை
சுமையாக எவரும் எண்ணத் துணிவதில்லை!

முற்பிறவி மீது நம்பிக்கை இல்லாதோரும் - அதை
இப்பிறவியில் சிலர் படும் பாடு கண்டு நம்பிடுவர்!

எடுத்த இப்பிறவியில் நலம் பல புரிய வேண்டும் - அதனால்
அடுத்த பிறவியில் எளிதாய்க் கடைத்தேற வழி தோன்றும்!

எண்பதைத் தாண்டினாலும், சருகு போல் காய்ந்தாலும்
எண்ணுவதில்லை மருத்துவர், சுவர்க்கம் அனுப்புவதற்கு!

மூச்சுத் தடைபட்டுத் தொண்டையில் கடைந்தாலும் - தன்
பேச்சுத் திறமையால் 'வென்டிலேடரில்' வைத்திடுவார்!

எக்காரணமேனும் காட்டி 'ட்ரெகியாக்டமி' செய்திடுவார்;
'அக்கா பட்சி' போல மனிதரை மாற்றிடுவார்!

உணவு உட்கொள்ள வழியின்றிச் செய்திடுவார்;
உணவு செல்ல மூக்கில் குழாய்தனைச் சொருகிடுவார்!

தான் பெற்ற அத்தனை 'மிஷினிலும்' ஏற்றி இறக்கிடுவார்;
'ஏன்?', என்று கேட்கவே கூடாது என்றிடுவார்!

கடின உழைப்பால் சேமித்ததில் பெரும்பகுதி போனபின்,
'கடினமே காப்பாற்றுவது', எனக் கூறிக் கைவிரிப்பார்!

'மண்ணாசையால் உயிர் ஊசலாடுகிறது' - எனக்கூறி,
மண் கரைத்து வாயில் ஊற்றும் வழக்கமாம், முன்பு!

'இது என்ன கருணைக்கொலையா?' - என்று நான்
இது பற்றி அறிந்த நாள், வருந்தியது நிஜமே!

மருத்துவத்தின் மேம்பாட்டால் மனிதர் படும் பாடு கண்டு, அக்
கருத்து இன்று மாறிவிடத் தோன்றுவதும் நிஜமே!

சிறந்த பட்டி மன்றத்தலைப்பு ஒன்று கிடைத்தது இன்று;
'சிறப்பான மருத்துவம் கொள்ளையா? இல்லையா?', என்று!

Dear Raji mam, very nice poem from you as always... sometimes i feel like that too.... if modern medicine methods weren't found, at least those elderly people would rest peacefully... some of the methods were just to rip off people... sometimes the family members certainly knew that that particular sick persone wont make it and the new medicine methods wont help, they intend to do anyway, just tat their conscience wont kill them after they are dead... the price they are paying for it, not just the hard earned money, but the unimaginable struggle of the sick people in their old age... Its very thoughtful poem dear Raji ma..

Dear friends,

It is very easy to advise others! But, when it comes to our own dear ones, we try to save their lives, at what ever cost, without even thinking of the sufferings they will have, if they live longer! Life is like that!

One more post will follow soon, about the medical world today! Truths are always bitter!!
