    அத்தி பூத்த பொழுதொன்றில்
    அருகருகே நாம் அமர்ந்திருந்தோம்.
    அரிதான இரண்டாம் பௌர்ணமியில்
    அலைகடல் முன்பே நின்றிருந்தோம்.

    இனித்திருந்தவை அந்நாள் எல்லாமே!
    இணைந்திடும் கனவில் நாம் மிதந்திருந்தோம்.
    இல்பொருளாய் அதுவும் போகுமென்றே
    இறை எண்ணியதோ? நாமென்ன கண்டோம்?

    எங்கோ தொலைதூரம் நீ சென்றாய்.
    எங்கெங்கும் உனைத்தான் நான் கண்டேன்.
    என்றோ ஒரு நாள் நீ எனைக் காண்பாய்,
    என்றும் போல் இருப்போமென நினைத்தேன்.

    ஒன்றென இருந்தது நம் இரசனையது.
    ஒன்றாகத் திரிந்தோம் சில நாளே!
    ஒன்றாமல் பிரிந்தோம், பாழ்விதியது
    ஒன்றைக் காட்டி, பின் மறைத்ததுமேன்!

    My mind went to chennai marina beach on a full moon day for second time and the little and huge waves formed at a distance in the Bay of Bengal were approaching slowly and steadily toward us sitting at an elevated place on sand near the shore. As our feet got wet intermittently, we hold from behind each other’s waist, then i felt you were not there while myhand was kneading the wet sand grains.

    Sweet days those days sweet dreams and reveries at that time
    We were afloat in that vicarious moments of enjoyment
    At some distant date we glanced at each other and met
    I contemplated everlasting living together till eternity

    But destiny separated
    short lived our hopes
    Yet still in desperation,
    i see you at horizon
    under the bright
    big ballooning moon
    In a clear summer-sky .
    Oh my beloved.....

    மனக்கண்ணில் கனவுக்கன்னி
    கண்மணியை கண்ட நாள்
    கவிதை மனது அற்புதம்
