    Thanks for sharing such a lovely picture and information about the temple! I was just sitting and translating the poem for you and saw mouni's response now while posting. However, here is what tranlsation I did with the little Sanskrit knowledge I have -

    Baalaya Neela Vapushe navakinkineeka
    jaalabhirama jighanaya digambaraya
    Shaardula divya nakah bhushana Bhoo****aya
    Nandatmajaya navaneetha mooshe namasthe

    A baby who has a blue body, laced with a beautiful new tinkling bell
    around his naked waist, adorned with a divine claw of a lion/tiger
    son of Nanda, I salute you butter faced God.

    Thank u all for sharing information about the temple. Even i had 2 miscarriages and tried ovulation induction which was not working. meanwhile saw this information,, in the next cycle visited the temple and prayed. I concieved in that cycle.. now i have delivered a male baby.
    So iam planning to visit the temple and present the silver cradle. Wanted to know whether to buy the silver cradle in bangalore (as i stay in bangalore) or is it available in the temple???.If i have to buy in bangalore where to get it??????????. Awaiting the reply

    Hi Tippy

    I am planning to visit Banaglore next month...are there any buses from Majestic/ from train station to this temple? and how long will the entire to and fro journey take

    reason I am asking is I am in Bangalore for few hours (9 a.m to 6 p.m only)

    I dont know if cradle is available in temple but you can buy it from any gold/silver shop in Bangalore. Most the jewellery shops have them

    Dear SSM,
    Temple is on the way to Mysore. Its on Bangalore-Mysore road. All buses to Mysore has to go through the place. And temple is very close to main road as well. But before alighting bus please check if they will stop there. There will be few express buses which may not stop everywhere.
    Also you can take a local taxi if you wish.

    Dear ssm...i would advice you to take a taxi from bangalore as it would be not more than 60-70 kms...!!!
    if you need any help let me know as i stay in bangalore..!!!

    I am planning to go to Garbhrakshambighai temple as well by ctaching train fm Blore to Kumbakonam
