    Jyothi,

In veggies - potatoes, cauliflower, cabbage
In fruits - try and avoid bananas and citrus fruits. Apple can be safely eaten.
In pulses - dals to be avoided.

Also you need to take a digestive either jeera water, ajwain or fennel seeds which will help you to emit the gas and help the LO while breastfeeding. I used to take vidanga water which helped.

I am not a vegetarian still I stayed away from these veggies and fruits postpartum. Lets wait for other reviews.

Avoid dal, Cauliflower and potato. you can have moong dal. You have to be careful till the baby is 2 months old. Once the baby starts turning around , they will be fine. After 8 weeks you can start having everything in moderation. continue having jeera or ajwain water after every meal.

My mother gave me dals, but dry-roasted and boiled. I think initially, she gave me only moong dal. With every meal, she would also give me powdered dry ginger and dhaniya powder, mixed in rice.
