It is a pretty tree. Looks like lot of care has been bestowed.

We too have a tree from the neighbour's yard, flowering and branching out only on our house. It is a pretty one too , but the fruit is not so sweet. The squirrels have a good time on that tree.

Thanks for dropping in Meharnisa.Your comments mean a lot to me :).

Thanks Jayalakshmi for the virtual visit to my garden. It is a nice feeling to see/get fruits from neighbour's tree isn't it??:crazy.Squirrels love pomegranate and guava like anything. They are inseparable.

    Hey Raji,

    Very nice and fresh !!!
I love (or should i say Like) gardening too. What makes me wonder - always - is the fact that no color combinations in nature are bad! They all are so perfectly done and so appealing !

    Loved the pics.

hi! i love your post and absolutely love all the pictures that you have displayed in here. Is it possible to grow pomegranates from the dried seed of the fruit? i have some with me since i dried up a pomegranate in the fridge.was wondering if i could try using them in a pot with some good soil.also loved the shots of the flower and how it becomes a fruit.it never occurred to me that it happens that way.wow!! how beautiful!!!
kudos to your pics and garden and please post some more stuff.thanks:bowdown

I used to wonder the same thing:).

You can try to do put that seeds and see whether you get a plant. It is a pure luck I guess!!

Thanks again for the lovely comments.I would try to post more pics.:thumbsup

    Thanks deraj for the comment.

It does not require a huge space. We grow it in a small space near the garden. It does not require heavy maintenance too..You need to protect the palnt from naughty squirrels. This is the only problem.

Guava plant is the sibling of pomegranate(Not the fruits sorry!).both of them require same climate, protection from squirrels etc.Hence you can also grow a guava plant if pomegranate grows!:thumbsup
