Hi IL's i would like to take visa for my parents this year. The problem is my husband's visa ends this july 2010..So if they go now for getting their visa will that be a problem? Will they refuse to give a multiple entry visa that is , the 10 year tourist visa? Has anybody got visa recently? Pl guide me.I need to apply very soon..Thanks a ton in advance
Hi, Thats not a problem. You can go ahead with your process. Because even our Visa was expiring on March2009, we invited our inlaws&parents in July2008,got their 10yrs visa too. So if you are planning to get them before december, still before July 2010 they willbe completing their 6months maximum visitor's visa stay. All the best.
Hi Nitjoe, I am on the same boat as you.My Husband's visa is expiring in july'2010. We are panning for their visa interview in Jan'2010 at Hyderabad.I dont think it would be a problem.
Thanks a ton Gokusha and Venusorchid. i will go aheead and collect all the documents necessary. @Venusorchid Have you booked the date for Jan 2010?
Hi friends, We are planning to get my parents on visitor visa .We have scheduled their interview on dec 11th in Hyderabad. I would like to know what questions will be asked and what documents do they need to produce there like original property documents .... Please reply soon. Thanks Venus Orchid
Hi Venus, Ask them to know the details of your name, address and company etc., Usually they ask relationship to you, their kids details...most of the time its very simple just with this sort of questions. In case they need some details they ask others details like property document etc., Ask them to carry original property documents,PAN card, if any unmarried kids their details like college, office details to make them ensure that your parents will return back after their stay in U.S to India .....generally no need to show these unless asked. All the best.
