    Hi Chitra mami
    how are you doing ?
today for the lunch i made aloo puri from your recipe , the puris turned out a hit . my dd loved it.

the problem started now , i kept the dough for 2-3 hrs out .now i'm trying it to prepare for my hubby , the dough is sooo soggy , i'm unable to handle it:spin . so i added more atta and fried it . its absorbing more oil:drowning. help me.

    Oh, Neha, soo sad!!
Some (not all) varieties of alu start 'leaving ' water.Except adding more atta, there is no solution!:-( Try adding a little rava - may be it will stiffen the dough. Do write.
    Al the best.
    Love,
    Chithra.
    Is your baby fine??

    Dear Chitrama,
Today evening made Creamy almond soup and Uniappam. The soup was just awesome, so creamy so tasty i fell in love with it. I made the soup sans potato but still the taste was great made a huge pot but everything emptied now. Trying uniappam for the first time, this time while coming from Chennai got a paniaaram pan so tried the uniappams. Delicious appams were ready in no time honestly never thought appams will be so easy to make.
Thanks a ton for making our lives so easy and tasty :)
    Attached the pics.

    Love,

    Dear chithumma,
Yesterday for dinner I made your hotel kara kuzhambu just adding zuchhini extra. It was out of this world. Also made dates rasam and seppankizhangu roast. Had leftover pudalangai kootu also so it was a very satisfying dinner.
Kids n DH initially looked at me with contemplation for the rasam, but once they tasted it they loved it. Kara kuzhambu rombaaaaa nalla irundudu. i ate so much!!
    thank youuuuuu....

    Dear Chithramma,

i read 'germanyil beti'.... is she here? if yes she has come at the right time. christmas goodies are making a grand appearance slurp slurp:)

    Dear Arch,

those kala jamuns are to die for. khoa and paneer gives such a rich royal taste. i made them last year for diwali and it was simply not enough:)

    Shyamals,

do try making khoa at home by the conventional method. if you have the proper vessel (i too use pressure pan) then you can multi-task. i made khoa for diwali for the choco-pista roll... khoa and dinner side-by-side. yes it's like thirattipal making but we don't get that thiri thiri patham. and use fresh full fat milk.

    Latha
