Ladies,
If there are any Wealth advisors, please pour your ideas on Best retirement avaialble in India. I heared there are certain plans like Jeevan Suraksh of LIC and and some plans iwth ICICI and AVIVA etc.
I have no idea on this plan but my intension is if I invest some money I will get its fruits after my retirement age monthly or annually. I have flexibility of chosing my retirement age to avail the benefits of the plan.
I wan to get some monthly income post retirement from any such plan if I invest in it. Please discuss about these plans and those will be beneficial for ladies like me.

You might want to talk to a financial advisor for your retirement planning. The available ones in the market that are called as "retirement plans" may not yield you the result that you might want. CAGR of that would be just 4-6% in my opinion. You need to look for various investment avenues such as equities, debt, MF, etc.

even i am desperate to know which is the right retirement plan for our family ...we have started yearly plan with sbi life yet to know about it s performance

as for the prospectus i went through it seems to give better return than lic's plan

would like to see more postings on this topic

Talking to a financial consultant is a good idea. None of the plans offer good returns. What I would suggest is to sit with a consultant and decide an inflation adjusted monthly amount that you may need for retirement. Based on that, you can decide a starting sum and a monthly addition to that fund. The fund should be placed in equities/MFs/FDs with a split of 80/20 initially(if you are in your late twenties, say). Slowly as you age, the fund should move away from equities and more towards traditional savings plans. At retirement age,80% or more of it should be in traditional investment vehicles. You should also calculate retirement age based on availability of funds considering a decent life expectancy.
All this can be explained better by a good financial consultant/wealth management planner. I'm neither and just penned down the information I got from my planner.

However...consulting a FP always helps...moreover the goal setting and identifying how much amount we need for retirement (based on the current and future expenses and also the inflation) these activities will be easy if someone can crunch some numbers

This can only be determined once you have a sound knowledge of the main types of retirement types offered and workable and where you stand financially when entering in to your retirement years. Phalguni,
IMO, As they are retirement benefits, dont go for any risk.
Post office Monthly Income plans or Bank Fixed Deposits are very good option as they are risk free.
