Yes you are right but the cost will be lesser for 18k gold. 18k gold with rodium polish is white gold and I bought a ring in white gold from GRT. The rate of white gold is atleast 300 bucks lesser than the normal 22k gold.
true but watz the use?? market is like "No resale value" for even 24ct..Then think about 18ct:hide:..If it is a tiny daily wear piece ..then it is not a problem..But while going for a costly purchase itz better we go for KDM or Gold with maximum purity..In that case i always prefer tanishq :queen

Read the thread today only and after reading all posts I felt I should choose between Kirtilal and GRT. I am planning to buy a diamond necklace. I have the traditional diamond stud (round one). Radhi both GRT and Kirtilal are good choices..If you go to GRT you have lot many options but i prefer kirtillal regarding quality of the diamond..but in GRt you can make a set in a low budget.. If you go to kirtilal they will guide you with matching bangles & necklace for your existing stud...moreover if you are not senti towards the stud, you can ask them make a new one by exchanging or re-model the existing The normal round 7 stones costs atleast 30..no doubt..whereas a necklace costs minimum 85K.. bangle sets starts @ a low range in GRT rather than other stores..
