    Dear Shilpa,
my observations from what you write:
If one batch of batter gives boondhis with tails, add a tsp of water & try a small amount. Like that, it is only trial & error. That is how I do it every time.
For CP roll, I used unsweetened khoa. If it cracked, you have slighly overcooked it. The khoa quality can make all the difference. So, please don't worry!tsk
    Love,
    Chithra.
I have posted with my deepavali wishes photos, all that I made!!

    :)Dear Chitra madam;
Hope you had a great diwali. My belated wishes!!!
FB's: Super soft rawa idaly and Bombay chutney. Loved it. Good way to start the day:)
    Rice Items:
Coconut milk rice: Tasty, with nice aroma, and mild too. Had it with spicy kerala style egg roast. Loved it
Alu masala bath. Had it with onion raita.A big winner:thumbsup. When I made it I thought it would be enuf for lunch and dinner. But Jay proved me wrong, he cleaned off the rice by lunch itself. It is a good party/potluck dish.Thank you!!!
    Kheers:
Badam Kheer: Made it for chinnu. Well... most of it ended in our stomach:). Very easy and tasty too.
Pineapple coconut payasam : Exotic. First time making a sweetdish with Pineapple. Loved it. My mil called me to ask the recipe, for Jay was giving good fb's on it.
Thanks a lot for all these wonderful dishes.
    -Nitha

Dear Nitha, welcome back after your vacation:)
    Thanks for all FBs.
I learnt Pineapple Payasam from my Trichur cousin, once when i had gone there on a holiday. She made it with local fruit & I was just bowled over by the taste. It is sad that the dish has received poor patronage here!:-(
So, special thanks for trying that!:)
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chithra Mami,

Huge increase in workload for both me and my husband has left me little time to try new recipes:-( So I just keep doing some of the ones that I've tried before - they are staples now (jain cabbage sabji, NT sambar, BG sambar, tomato kurma) etc.

I really need to get more organized so I can spend more time reading your forum and trying out recipes. I've missed them!

Hope you had a great Deepavali. I am reading about all the goodies everyone has made and am drooling!

    Thank you,
    Sindhu

    Masoor Dal saadam
    Pattani Saadam
    Carrot Rice
    Vegetable Tava Paratha
    Carrot Potato Kurma

    Badusha
    Shakkar Para
Mixture made with your Omappaodi and Karaboondhi recipes
Chocolate Badam roll(had no pista,so used flaked badam)
The last few recipes were tried for diwali.Thank you very much for your efforts,SBS especially. It is virtual learning at it`s very best.
My diwali greetings to you and your family.
My greetings to all the ILites who tirelessly try and give feedback on this forum-it helps all of us and makes us try different things. You have no idea how appreciative I am to learn from such an experienced person.I just regret that I cannot do more.
    Take care,
    Maheshwari
