Dear S-s, This is wat I want you to do - perfect few recipes & have them at your finger tips.
    You write about
my intro into the CV world
well, my entering IL has literally opened up a new, YOUNGER world to me.My prayers to God have been answered in a way, totally unexpected, but delightful way to me.
At my age, most ladies feel a void in life, once the children settle down with their lives. For me, it is all the more, because V is a loner, by nature.
Now, it is good and busy going for me, thankyou God.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Dear Pragadha, a very rewarding FB to me!
Guula jamun can be a little tricky to start with, sp: with milk powder. Though I give detailed measurements, the nature of the ingredients, you use, also matters. The dough turning out perfect - neither too soft, but right - is the key to success.
Managing with a small kid, you have only proved that
Where there is a will, there is a way!
    Thankyou, Pragadha.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    DearRadhi,
    Thanks.
The D marundu hardens in a fraction of a minute. We must remove it when it still looks as though we need to cook it for a few more mts. But on cooling it sets just right.
    When you all write
Best thing that happened in 2009 for me is getting to know your forum
I feel like crying in joy that God should bless me so much with creating IL & this forum, to be loved USEFULLY by so many youngsters.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Usha, a very colourful eye-catching diwali spread complete with rangoli et al.
Full time career, rather professional women like you, FINDING time for deep culinary interest, are rare to find - I would say, it is my privilege to know you as well!
    Your spread looks beautiful, Usha.

I love your making the most traditional of all -D marundu & ukkarai!!
My regards to Appa & amma.
    Thanks & love,
    Chithra.

Dear Sangeetha, thanks a ton.More than my making it easy, you have done them well, following the recipes faithfully, without introducing 'personal' tips, for the first time.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Shree, Very good FBs!!
I hope you made the badushas, flat like a disc & not rounded, as also, poked deep holes on the surface. Only these two tips help in making the inside sweet. I can guess how lovely they must have looked, dressed up 'colourfully'!:)

I am very glad you tried the fruits kheer - so simple but simply delicious!:tongue
    Love,
    Chithra.

Kate, my Angel, my guess is 100% right - that you would try Angel Burfi!
    :)
Though one of my firstrecipes here, I think the SBS tempted you all to try it!
    Thanks for all FBs.
    Love,
    Chithra.
