    Thanks a TON dear Sowmi & Suja ! I had never heard of this Krishna stores ; will check it out this weekend.

    And Sowmi, previously we were also in the building in front of GS 10 ; behind Spinneys too :exactly: ..... next to Obaidulla building ; there is one 7 storey white building with blue balconies, called Al Shahab ! It was such a lovely area, with yummy restaurants exactly on the opposite side ; we were enjoying the best of Karama too, without actually staying in the midst of that crowd.

    Now shifted to Deira for past few years ;;;;;;; missing that place & my friends in nearby buildings :cry: sooooooooo much !

    I am a new Ilite! myself Induprakash and my husband stays in Al Khan, Sharjah for past four years. This site is so informative and i find so much helpfull in developing my cooking. Nice to see u ppls here. :-D

    hi ilites!

    i live in dubai. can anyone of you help me out in getting a full time or part time housemaid preferably a Hindu. she would have to cook, clean and look after my kids. i have placed an ad in the newspaper but i hve received few responses.

    i stay in deira and am in dubai for the past 4 years.

    please help me out friends.

    Sorry for the late reply.
    My daughter is pretty well.Right now she is in India with my inlaws, might bring her back next month.Im with an insurance broking firm at the ABN AMR bank bldg. I guess ur house is prety close to mine. Im next to Chettinad restaurant/ABu dhabi flour mill at electra, just behind Eldorado restaurant.Lets meet up sometime.
