VSar, Good one!!! Thank u for Golu pic...will show this to my kids. I miss mambalam.

I heard about the horrible murder at kala flats in postal colony...very sad and heart wrenching through Sun Tv news. I am not able to digest that this happend in broad day light and in very active flat.

Ya Viji, it was very shocking , I stay in the 51st street opposite to kala flats and that night when I came I saw a couple of police jeeps, thought it was unusual, then in the morning when I went out saw 4 police jeeps and then thought something must have happened, later came to know about the double murder. It is sad, that once again crime is raising its head in ashoknagar/mambalam area. A few years back there was a spate of chain snatching by a gang before that menance ended. Now this...its shocking.

I too heard about it from one of my extended family member. I felt very distressed. I had assumed Mambalam to be one of the most safest localities. That too after seeing this happening in an apartment that too during the day...how atrocious...didn't that flat have a watch man or some security person?

The building has a watchman, but there are quite a few residents who teach music, vocal, violin etc in that apartments so very difficult to keep tabs unless there is a proper security system in place.
