Do you prefer wax or thread for upperlip?

Hi ladies.......... Before finding anybody who could help me with threading, I used to go to the parlours here. Waxing was the way for eyebrows, upper lip, face etc...

Now I have found somebody closeby who does threadng, so eyebrows I thread. But I still get my face waxed once in a while. I guess if u follow up with a good skin tightening facial ( I have not done it, but just my assumption ), it should be fine. A friend of mine has been waxing her entire face for many many years now and it seems to be fine with her.

Threading on upper lip or for that matter of fact, anywhere on my face, gives me severe rashes and it burns. But I still get eyebrows done and smudge a generous amount of Boroline on that afterwards.

I also prefer threading.Waxing pulls the facial skin and might cause premature aging....

I will go for waxing trips for upper lips:thumbsupAs i am staying in Mn.here is no beauty parlour near to my apt.So i got SALLY HANSEN WAXING STRIPS for upperlips,really its work without any pain.

 

i personally prefer threading. when i was in india,i was regular with it.
here in US,its difficult for me to go to a parlor every 2-3 weeks.
so,i use sally hansen wax strips. effects are same as threading and pain is less!
i don't know how true it is that face will sag if we wax.but i have no other option in US.

 

I think shaving is better for upper lip or may be plucking ,because waxing is painful and for waxing the hair needs to be long,you have to grow your hair to an embrassing length,and for threading it is ok,if you dont have any acne,but after waxing and threading on the face,most of the people get acne breakouts.Depends on which skin type you are.
