Aari work classes in Trichy

Hi everybody,

This is my very first visit to Indusladies.com and find it an extremely useful and interesting website. I am based in Sri Lanka and just starting off my maiden voyages in different types of embroidery and so find that your website has opened a range of opportunities for me Thank you so much ladies!

I am planning on visiting Trichy and thought of learning Aari work. However, I will be there on a very short visit and so want to know whether it is possible for me to learn it within 7 days and also if anyone can recommend any teachers that would be great.

Also, does anyone know about where I can purchase the items to make my own bombay costume jewelry. Are there any reliable online dealers or any links which I can visit to just get an idea of the different things available for me to buy. Also where can I buy such things cheap in Trichy including small zardosi work books etc.

I'm not really sure if I'm posting in the right place - excuse me if it is not so. Hope that someone will be able to help me
