Latha, I make one MW chowchow thogayal which I will post. It is simply superb!:thumbsup
If you get very tender & fresh, chop into small cubes(like kutti squares!), steam & make curry - it is awesome! We call these curries 'kattam potta curry'!This can be made with potato & raw banana also besides ofcourse carrot & beetroot, as usual.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Thanks, Hema. Since vepampoo is antiseptic, it is healthy to include it once a week, in our diet.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dearest Chith,

I am a big fan of Avocado for it's taste and it's amazing nutritive benefits, me and the little ones share one avocado daily. Big M is not a big fan of them though. I usually make the gaucamole dip for sandwiches, but have never tried the smoothy. For a change tried the smoothy, it was sooooo yummmmmm.. Condensed milk + Avocado made such a wonderful filling meal I should say. Do you have a better gaucamole recipe? I just chop onions and tomatoes and add it with mashed avocado and sprinkle some lemon juice. I am sure you will come up with a smashing recipe.

I made pasiparuppu idlies after seeing babyraji's pics, and they came out very very nicely. I made ginger chutney to go with it (though we don;t get manga inji here), nevertheless still tasted very good. All of us gobbled it up, it tastes like a southie version of Dhokla.

For sunday lunch, I made pudina paratha exactly as mentioned in the s-by-s method. Foold proof instructions, romba nanna vandhadhu. Shahi paneer repeat panninen, richa irundhadhu, so compensated with one of the smoothies for dinner :thumbsup.

Thanks again for the wonderful recipes.

    Love
    Vidhu

    Dear Arch,
    A long list from a kutti ponnu!:biggrin2:
Once you eat home-made(from scratch ofcourse) gulab jamun, you will not touch any mix with a bargepole!! I can assure you.
I too use atta kneader if I have to knead 2 cups ormore. Otherwise FP is easy.
Yes, palida is what you were raving about in my house! I normally don't post so early after trying. But since you loved it, I posted so promptly!
Madurai masal kizaangu is very famous in small bakshana kadais around meenakshi temple. It gets sold out very fast!!
A new veg sagu is ready which I made with savoury chirotis on sunday!:)
    Love,
    Chithra.
