    Dear Chitvish,

We just had szechwan rice. The flavour of the garlic & chillies paste gives the distinctive chinese flavour to the rice.It tasted superb & we had it with fruit raitha. The cooling raita was a splendid combo with the spicy rice.

Thank you for the wonderful recipes & wide variety of dishes you have given us.

    Love & Regards,
    Kate.

Priya, I love cold bisibela too! :tongue
Cube paneer & marinate. you can shallow fry these on a tava also instead of deep-frying to avoid sticking.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Chaaral, I think, you have not looked into my poli recipe - how to knead the dough to get very soft polis.
Do not strain yourself too much & take care.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Latha, perhaps the mavu might have fermented, but late, if you had left it outside itself. Sometimes i takes as long as 12 hrs.
Brinjal seems to have become dear to you, living in Germany! Living here, I miss Madurai keerai, which cooks soooooo fast -no whistle etc necessary!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Mrs C
Unga milk powder cake romba soopernga .I was planning to bake a plain cake , but then I found no eggs in the refrigerator , so just went to through your recipe index , decided to make it .
Absolutely delicious.Could not resist eating this.
Its a little bit sugary for me, could I reduce the sugar next time, will the texture remain the same ?
    Thanks

Varloo, marundu rasam is yet another 'aluppu' rasam & soothing. BUT, we tend to consume more rice with that!! :-(
    Love,
    Chithra.
