    Dear Deepa,
Thanks for the F b, more because it is a "less F B item!". With the awareness of kollu reducing cholestrol, I think we must start having kollu atleast one a week.
This morning, Anjana was her for about 3 hrs & had lunch with me. I hope the next person will be you, whom I will meet in June itself ? Please call me as soon as you settle down in Chennai.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Neelayadakshi,
Your rasam recipe was super - I made it y day. The ginger flavour is subtle & very nice. Thanks for sharing this recipe here.
No, I don't add tamarind for dosai milagai podi at all !
Yes, I am drafting shraddha samayal, both Palakad & Thanjavur. I will post shortly.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    My dear Chithra

Today I made sambar powder following ur recipe and made one whistle sambar with the freshly made sambar podi. Needless to say it was very flavourful and tasty. My kitchen is filled with the nice aroma of sambar. I used my mixer to make sambar powder and could powder it well. I have stocked the sambar podi in my freezer for later use.

I also made cluster beans koottu to go with the sambar, it was very nice and different. ( We r yet to have our lunch)

This evening I am also planning to make rasam powder, shall make rasam tomorrow and post the fb. I am sure it will be also superb.

I am regularly making ur Milagai podi recipe and we all relish it very much along with our tiffin items.

    Thanking u
    Love and regards
    Priya

    Dear Priya,
    Thanks for the F B s.
Making sambar powder with mixi is not an easy job - for coarse rasam powder, mixi is Ok.
In spite of chutneys & sambars, my vote is for milagai podi always !
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chitvish,

Thanks a ton for all your wonderful posts !!

I have a doubt - While making Jamuns using the ready made mix available, the jamuns always break...Is there anyway this can be avoided ?
