Re: Fancy dress costumes for kids -- where to find ? Hello P&B, There is this Prabhat company which rents out dresses. these people are located somewhere near Lalbagh ( I dont know the exact address!). They are very famous for such things. How old is your kid? You can try doing something at home as well...you can make your boy a : saint, Vivekananda (if you can get that orange cloth and make a turban associated with kurta-pyjama), vegetables/fruits - you can cut cardboard in the shape and wrap with the colored shining paper spiderman outfit - you'll get it in many kidswear shops Gabbar singh - you can put a dark green/brown dress, paint moustache and beard and give a toy gun krishna - tie a dhoti and dress up with jewels and you can buy a plastic crown and a flute to add the effect! For other things like an animal outfit, historic personalities, you might need to borrow costumes from Prabhat or such places. Do let us know what you finally did! I've written more than what I thought!! :thumbsup Regards, Hema
Hey Thanks a lot everyone, Hema you have given me lots of good ideas .. I especially like the Gabbar Singh one I will also see if I can find Prabhat company. Sounds like a good place ! Thanks so much P&B
