These lines are appropriate today. The monsoon months are half gone and India hasn't experience rains yet. I can see dark clouds in the sky...but it has been there since the past week to open up to a clear sky after some strong winds blow them away......

We are helpless to the 'Schedule of the Nature' and can only pray...

Is it raining in your city??

Oh.. the Rain God is really playing hide and seek this year. However, Mumbaikars are lucky to have at least the first bout of rains last Friday (26th June)bringing welcome relief from the scorching heat; although the scheduled date for the monsoons to arrive was June 10 this year.

However, along with the rains came a plethora of delays that are common to the city - flights late by 25-30 minutes, suburban trains running behind schedules by 5-15 minutes and road traffic jams all over the city and suburbs. Several low-lying areas in the city and suburbs were water-logged after overnight heavy showers, causing traffic snarls and delays.

Among the areas which experienced water-logging were Andheri, Malad, Santacruz, and Dahisar suburbs in western Mumbai and Kurla, Sion, Ghatkopar on the eastern side. Long queues of vehicles were seen on the Western Express and Eastern Express highways as water from surrounding areas flowed on to the main thoroughfares connecting south Mumbai.

Ab kare bhi to kya kare? :spin
