TTC progress and two weeks wait...

Hello Ladies,

How is everyone doing??? Well let see who's turn is next to give us the good news. I'm very happy that lot's of ladies who have been struggling to get pregnant are FINALLY enjoying their pregency.

My update: I'm in my 2WW. So let's see what happens next month. I'm not stressing these days and just trying to enjoy life.

Aishuanand 2WW means 2 week wait one has to do after ovulation to see if you are preganant or not. most doctors recommend to take first pregnancy test after 14 days of ovulation that is if you can wait that long.

today was my 10 day past IUI. i tried my best to stop myself from doing a HPT but could not resist the urge. So i did it and it came out negative. cried a bit and then told myself maybe i have tested too early my period date is 10th july . egg should have been implanted 9 days before the next period right? :hiya

am preparing myself for second IUI cycle. am taking progestrone orally as well. will it cause delay in on set of my menses?

still a part of me is waiting for a miracle.:bowdown Best wishes to all the ladies.

 

2WW means 2 weeks wait....

Assuming you have a 28 days cycle and ovulation happens on the 14th day...The first 2 weeks of your cycle(D1 - D14) is called follicular phase and as the name suggests this phase consists of the follicular development and maturation.

The next 2 weeks(D15-D28) is called luteal phase and this constitues your 2 WW.This is where your embryo gets implanted successfully and the pregnancy is confirmed later.Since we are eagerly awaiting to know the outcome of the particular month's attempt and the outcome is based on the harmonal changes and happenings in the luteal phase,this phase is called 2 weeks wait.

i have posted in this tread some time back.
I did my first iui this 27th and today the 30th i feel really bloated . Is it quite normal.?i am taking as much as care i can. Friends i need your prayers. I will keep you updated with the progresses.

yes feeling bloted after IUI is quite normal. i had my IUI on 20th june and did feel bloted for a couple of days but now 10 days down the road all symptoms have gone .
which would explain why i couldnot resist taking HPT before the 2WW is over.:bonk
