Re: chances of C-section with induced labor

I delivered a baby boy five months ago. I was induced by the Ob-Gyn as I had gestational diabetes. My cervix was not fully dilated and 8 hours into the labor I was only 3 cms dilated. The Ob-Gyn advised us that she might perform a C-section. But I ended up having a normal delivery after 9 and half hours of labor. So I believe that God or my body or the baby intervened and I went from 3 cms to 10 cms (fully) dilated in an hour!

    Hi,

In my case, i got mild pain.So doctors induced labor.....this was from the morning, evening at7p.m my water breakup,...tried for normal delivery....baby is hitting and going up.& suddenly kid's heart rate got low..they planned for emergency C-section.

    Don't worry...as our other friends said...it doesn't always end in c-section...

    Regards,
    USHA.

    hi all,

thank u for ur replies, i was also with the same thought that inducing labor does not always end up in C-section, however my friend is going to be induced on 17th june n one is still waiting to have her normal contractions even though she has passed her due date.

hopefully they have a normal delivery with healhty babies

    thank u

    Re: About Delivery!

Best is normal delivery. Allows the uterus to regain its position. No stomach bloationg. also helps to generate milk for the baby.

pain after the operation is severe than the labour pain. Best of luck. kanaka:coffee:coffee:coffee:coffee
